Dan Carl has been a bit snap-happy lately, here's a few cool rides that caught his eye.

Primo rod fodder. Why cant I find 'em like this.

Hey, hey, getting that thrown together look down pat, here's a cool 32 roadster.
I'd lose the firewall mounted battery, but hey, thats just me!

Dan found the Happy Days truck tucked under this shade tree. Dodgy looking headers were ohv units bolted on upside down for instant eye appeal. What looks good on the screen in a brief flash looks odd when studied at length. If this were mine, I'd have to make some changes. Call me a heretic, I know this truck is an icon, but it never looked right to me.

Wild flathead powered altered sports a pretty hi-tech induction system.

A 49 Meteor Businessmans Coupe.
This baby belongs to Don Sinclair.

Here's Paul with his pride and joy. Wagons are cool, this one's bagged a few trophys in its time.

Koops sent me a pic of his ride, this Rover powered 27T.
Currently under rebuild, though the basic style will remain.

Sent in by D Evans from Costa Mesa, So Cal.

Carps from OZ posted these pics recently, he's been working on this 33 7 Window  for 15 years or so
and proudly took it for it's first shakedown runs the other day. those old slot mags still look cool.

These nice old shots were posted by Zeke on the HAMB. Zeke kindly sent the following to accompany the pics:
Mart, the info on those cars; They belonged to my father in law Don "Jake" Larson,
during the early 50's in Jamestown NY.
The sleeper 33 Plymouth he bought from
his English teacher who's brother had brush painted it. After repainting it,
it got a 53 Merc flattie, Offy heads and 3/4 race cam and 3 Strom 97s. At one
time he had aquired about 30-40 97s, stashed away in his barn. All eventually
were sold away.  Headers were fabricated out of old tube headboards and ran
down and out of sight.
The A roadster received the Plymouths flat head and
later a GMC blower. No changes were made to the body and it remained in
primer even though  Don's dad (a custom  furniture maker) put in red leather
tuck and roll.
This 33/34 later was chopped and channeled and had the frame
z'd. Powered by another hot 53 Merc.
Thanks for sending the full story Zeke.

Posted by Ken on the Flathead forum here's his 27T truck. Temporarily fitted with a 46 rad, car has just successfully completed it's maiden voyage.

Neil Pope (from down under) has this tasty early Ford truck stashed away in the garage.
Unusual monochromatic look is quite a change. I like it!

Stefanie Schwartz from Germany gets the guys heads spinnin when she sails by in her cool Merc.
Note the cool Hirohata style dash knobs.
There's a mysterious shortage of VW overriders in her home town for some reason.

Here's Local boy Tim Spark's 32B. Car features an old Jago body and Rover power. It's been around for ages.

---oooOOOooo---
Thanks to all the contributers for the pics on this page...Mart.
