The engine is a small block Chev, featuring a hefty setback. It drives through a 4 speed tranny to an 8 inch Ford axle. Smitty's been running this car for 20 years. Had a long letter from Steve Rickets, he used to live round here, and we have some mutual friends. He's currently in exile in Southern California. Tough break Steve. 
Steves '33 Lorry 
Hey, if you got a truck you gotta carry stuff, right? Note welds from just done roof chop. Steve Carpenter sent these from Australia. Steves a Limey, has been down under for a few years, but look out Yanks, he's on his way to your part of the world. 
Steve sold this '32 to a french guy. 
If you're in Oz, you've just got to have an Ozzie Falcon pickup. Note strange phenomenon called "sunshine", apparently. 
Steve's shipping his A body to the States. Quarter panel being repaired with section from a '40 door. How traditional do you want? Tommy Mills sent this shot of his mighty fine Sport Coupe.
