4 years and lots of sweat and still not finished. It doesn't have a Chevy, it's a Foooord Y block. Not everyone follows the pack of cookie cutter trucks. Nice one, Mule. Saw these pics on Fatcat's site on RRT.
PhatRat credited as owner.
A very nice car indeed! Hope they don't mind me lifting the pics! Had a note from Fatrat with the following info: '41 Ford coupe, chopped 3 1/2 in. 396 BBC punched .090 over, Nova sub and rear, leather interior with buckets. Car is only driven about 5000 mi. per year as we get winter pretty good this far north. Thanks for liking it enough to post it without being asked. No, Fatrat, thank YOU!.....Mart These pics courtsy of Jay Carnine:
First a 32 on 32 rails.
Then a 31 on 32 rails. Jay sent me these pics after I announced I am building a 30A on 32 rails. Thanks Jay. Received this from Mark Crichton.
"Anyway, here is a picture of my 37 Ford Pickup. I questioned if it was deserving of being included in a "Hot Rod" site, as it is quite original. But it does have a 85 horse flatty, and it really screams it's ass off at 50 MPH." Glad to have it, Mark. It is a Hot Rod oriented site but there's no discrimination here. It's a cool old truck. It's in. Mark lives in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota USA. Mike Bishop at last fulfilled his promise and sent me another pic.
Mike writes: "For now, I'm attaching a recent photo of Vern Tardel's Deuce. This old warrior has been a hot rod since the early '50s, last painted--by Vern--in the early '60s and touched up occassionally since. Hot rod miles topped 100K long ago and for good reason; it is as fine a driver as any that's been built over the decades. I've yet to see a Deuce with a better stance or all the elements positioned as right as they are on this car. It is the definitive '32 highboy roadster." You can tell Mikes a scribe. he writes four lines of thoughtful description, you're lucky to get one line out of me. Keep 'em coming, Mike.....Mart. Received these pics from Danny Shingleton.
This 54 Ford has most of the usual custom touches frenched lites, rounded hood corners, nosed and decked, the rear lights have been changed and are now 75 Ford l.t.d. which resemble 54 Merc.
The drivetrain is stock with a three duece manifold being added.
Nice one, Danny, thanks for the extra pics...Mart. ---oooOOOooo--- Thanks to all the contributers for the pics on this page...Mart. |
