Nostalgia Nationals, Flathead Meltdown.
Part 2.
More of the same from me and Koops at the Nostalgia Nationals.
Got some cool pics you'd like to share?  mail me.

So what do you do if you drop onto a set of unwanted 18" Ford wires? You build a car around them of course!
Mad Dog's shorty bob tail T runs the Scutchers favourite powerplant, the 2 litre pinto. (Pics by Koops)

Jerry Denning's fresh out Model B truck created from an unloved 4 door sedan. Chrome grille surround was used in England in 34 to try and eke another year from the aging 32 design. Pic by Koops.

The Scutchers campsite and leisure complex boasts all manner of entertaining pastimes. Jack tries his hand at swingball.

The flathead in this tasty 32 came from an Alfa racer (says the owner) and was purchased complete with finned heads, dual carbs and mag for a very reasonable sum. The generator bracket broke, so the owner stretched a shorter belt round the remaining 3 pulleys to get home. (Thanks to the mag)

Jim Pantal's all aluminium A track roadster. Still sublime.

Kev Cattell's tiny  little sportster boasts a screaming 100E flatty with a weber twin choke carb.
Rest of running gear is ford pop.
(Though on second thoughts, the front end has parallel leaves, so I'm not so sure)

The Black Country delegation. Dave's 32, Rich's A, and Kev's little special..

Spotless 32 runs distinctive track style nerf bars in front of the rear wheels.

Theres that red 32 again, was very eye-catching.

27T sports that UK die-hard, the Rover (Buick for you Yanks) all aluminium V8. Nice wheels.

same car snapped by Koops.

Scutchers loading up for the trek home. If you want to find them always look for the muddiest corner of the camping field. thats where they'll be.
