Joe wrote: This 34 was featured in the Feb.1964 issue of Rod&Custom magazine as the Rod Test car. It is just as it appeared except for paint and upholstery. The 34 has a 53 Cadillac engine with 4 strombergs, 39 Ford tranny, early Ford rear end. Magnisium Americans on the rear with original M&H dragster tires. I have the complete history of this car and have spoken with the original builder. The 29 was built in Canada in the early and mid fifties by Jerry Davies. I bought the car out of storage in 1993 and restored it. It has the same 50 Olds 303 engine, 40 Ford transmission and 40 Ford rearend it had in the fifties. The car was first shown in the 1956 Detroit auto show. All of the original lead work is in excellent condition, The car was stored indoors for 30 years and was in very good condition. I sold the car back to Jerry in December of 1998. He had not owned the car since the late 50s. Joe Sams
